Hariri Pontarini Architects, established in 1994, is a leading Canadian full-service architectural practice known for creating modern landmarks such as the award-winning Bahá’í Temple for South America, the acclaimed McKinsey & Company headquarters in Toronto, and the Governor General’s Medal-winning Schulich School of Business. Founded by Simak Hariri and David Pontarini, the firm has delivered a broad range of institutional, commercial and residential projects, libraries, schools and academic buildings. Hariri Pontarini Architects has become known for designing projects of exceptional quality, with a strong conceptual basis derived from the specific needs and aspirations of each client. Supported by 70 professional and technical staff, HPA’s projects have garnered the firm over 52 national and international awards.

Currently, the firm is overseeing the design and construction of nearly 50 institutional, cultural and mixed use projects; including the international competition-winning Richard-Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and the competition-winning design for the expansion of the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto, as well as the 75-storey One Bloor East development at the most active and prominent intersection in the city of Toronto.


Munge Leung was established in 1997 by Alessandro Munge, Managing Partner and Sai Leung, Design Director, with the desire to build a boutique studio to offer dynamic and inspiring design solutions to a variety of specialty areas.

Today Munge Leung is an internationally recognized, Toronto-based interior design firm with a wealth of experience in creating the interiors for a global client roster that includes luxury hotels, premium condominium and residential projects and iconic restaurant and nightclub venues.
